This is a great idea and very well- executed! The workshop is very informative, well-organized, and easy to follow as a slideshow because the intervals can be adjusted by the viewer. I look forward to other such workshops. MWSA members should think of other topics that could be shown in this workshop format.
Don, we are considering a couple of topics -- one being "Maximize the Value of Your Media Releases." Maria Edwards will probably lead that one. Another that we are discussing is small side conversations for folks focusing on specific Genres or Sub-Categories. For example, there is a growing group of folks who would like to have an on-going discussion on techniques appropriate for Historical Fiction. Finally, we are discussing one to build a database of Media Resources across the country.
Do you have any in particular that you are interested in seeing?
This is the place for conversation, questions, smiles -- and comaraderie. Up to 100 members can become thread managers. That is, to start conversations that any other member can comment on. If you'd like to become a thread manager, leave a message/comment on the blog or contact me at MWSAPresident@gmail.com or our webmaster at MWSAWebmaster@gmail.com.
The MWSA Webmaster and our various "blog authors" will monitor all comments so please keep it civil, generous, and informative. This is no place for politics or warring ideologies. There are plenty of other blogs for that. It IS a place to share what you've learned about writing, the publishing industry, Miltary or Veteran Events, history, technology, and personal experience.
I look forward to reading what you all have to say.
